Word and deed
It is strange how many times we can talk about things that we cannot actually do. Somehow we have fallen into the trap of making healing something out there without walking in it. From my point of view healing is for all of us. Somewhere along the line we need to accept that Jesus paid it all, and that He has given us so much.
This is what Paul said in Romans 15 :18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things twhich Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
He says there obedient in MIGHTY SIGNS AND WONDERS in verse 19, and in verse 18 he speaks about word and deed. In other words that our word should never be without deed. We should not try to teach things we are not walking in. We should seek God eagerly for the gifts so that we can walk in what He has for us.
We are called all of us, to make a change. We serve an Almighty Father who has given us everything. He wants us to enjoy life. He wants us to help others, to bring a change in a fallen world.
