For a brief overview of the soaking songs:

The soaking songs from TriUne Echo are about roughly 10 min long and used for devotional/ministry times.

For a bit of background to the new soaking song titled ‘Deliverance’

I have experienced deliverance in my own personal life more than 10 yrs back, and after often encountering people who seem to think that Satan has more power than he really does, the Lord reminded me of His greatness and supremacy. As a Christian, through Jesus Christ we have authority over Satan as God’s Word says in

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. There are many more Scriptures that confirm the promises of this beautiful thing that can has given and entrusted to us.

Unfortunately many Christians give Satan more thought, than God honour, and tend to be paranoid, watching their backs, thinking they are always under attack, so much so, that there is more emphasis put on spiritual warfare than emphasis placed on worshiping and honouring and celebrating God with a joyous and peaceful lifestyle. Do not get me wrong, I am not against spiritual warfare, but many Christians have a great imbalance in their lives when it comes to this.

The Kingdom of God is righteous, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. If a Christian is not experiencing righteous but sin and oppression, not experiencing joy, but fear and paranoia, not experiencing peace, but continual striving, a battling to hear God’s voice and over emphasis of good works in compensation to this, the sad reality is the one in this sort of situation is not experiencing the Kingdom of God in their lives.

I battled with various eating disorders, from one extreme to the next, many years ago and after many people praying for me, counselling, reading numerous books, praying like crazy to be free of it, nothing worked. No man could help me, and no man’s advice seemed to change my life. It was a huge stronghold, so bad that it felt like my own will had been taken over by something. After pursuing God for months on end, I eventually said, God if you don’t deliver me from this, I would rather die. After many failing attempts to fast, I finally gave up and fasted until He delivered me. It only took 11 days of a purely water fast, and he miraculously delivered me in totality. This is when I realised, God you are my rescuer, no man can do what you can.

In the song I have written ‘You hold the keys of life, unlock my heart to respond, you are my truth, Jesus.

I thought I would never get free of this thing or get deliverance after battling this for 2 yrs, nothing, absolutely nothing helping. But God has all authority over all principalities and powers of darkness, and when coming under submission to His Rule and reign, one will find deliverance. It is a case a yielding one’s will to His. He is faithful to show you how to do this when you wait on Him and never let Him go.

Jas 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Jas 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

As children of God we are Heirs and co-Heirs with Christ and He has given us all authority over powers of darkness because of our great inheritance.

When we are in right standing with God and understand our authority it can be effectively exercised.

John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

This Scriptures does not warn us to fear what the devil might do, but tells us of his character. With that it contrasts the character of God to in a sense say BUT, take note… I have come that they may have life…

In the song is says: Lord take control of my life, every part, there’s no place, you cannot reach lead me to freedom, it’s your gift. And that is the mystery and beauty of God’s grace. His perfect and uncompromising will is to give every man life and life abundantly – to take us into freedom. It is not His will or nature to punish cruelly, cause anguish with destruction and neglect. That is the nature and character of Satan. Many people do not realise how perfectly loving, merciful and gracious our Father is, and so they live in fear rather than freedom. We are victorious in God, not victims to Satan! Satan can only do what you give him permission for.

1Jn 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

I hope this song can speak to some people who battle with understanding the love and power of God, and I hope there can be a greater realisation for some that God wants you to walk in absolute freedom. God is always in a good mood, and is always standing with arms wide open, waiting for you. If you have a stronghold in your life or feel entrapped in any way, start worshiping God and surrendering. Stop focusing on what you think you are not and let God minister to you.

Colossians 1:15-20

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

1 Corinthians 15: 57 But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lyrics for Deliverance:

I’ve met the Deliver… God, hailed the Awesome, the Mighty

I’ve touched the Healer, God hailed the Merciful, God of love

I walk with the Saviour, God my life and salvation, Je-sus

God, my rescuer… No man can do what you can

You hold the keys of life. Unlock my heart to respond, You are my truth , Jesus

Lord take control of my life, every part

There’s no place You cannot reach

Lead me to freedom, it’s Your gift

Come Holy Spirit

You have no battle wounds

Nothing can withstand Your power

Your mastery over my life is more powerful than the darkness

You’re my Redeemer, my Restorer of hope

All hail the King, the King of Kings, Jesus Christ the Lord

Jesus

You hold all authority

Fear is gone

You’ve conquered sin and death

Hallelujah

How I love You

God of grace, You’re my light

The darkness flees at Your name

I’m free to receive

I wait at Your feet, Jesus

I wait at Your feet, I wait at Your feet.

Below the video on how to download our free soaking music.

Please note that not all the songs on the album are downloadable. Some of the music is from our first album Extraordinary God. We are also planning to bring out a CD which will be a full quality version of the soaking music you can currently download. These soaking worship songs will be the final mixes and will be professionally mastered. We will make this available at a nominal cost.

The songs:You are all I need;Shout;Prayer;Extraordinary God;Jesus set me free;Be Thou my vision;Satisfied;Your glory shines; Psalm Song and Adoration are from our album – Extraordinary God

How great Though art is a preview of one of the songs of our new Hymn CD that would probably be released in 2012. We’ve been working on this album for a very long time as it required a huge amount of arrangement. Vocally Yvette grew over the time of the album that we retook many of the vocals a few times. We are now at a 99% done stage, and the album needs to go in for mastering.

This is what Paul said in Romans 15 :18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things twhich Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

He says there obedient in MIGHTY SIGNS AND WONDERS in verse 19, and in verse 18 he speaks about word and deed. In other words that our word should never be without deed. We should not try to teach things we are not walking in. We should seek God eagerly for the gifts so that we can walk in what He has for us.

We are called all of us, to make a change. We serve an Almighty Father who has given us everything. He wants us to enjoy life. He wants us to help others, to bring a change in a fallen world.

Many times we sit with decisions. We make plans set goals, and then ask God for guidance. We take our future into our own hands, and then try to twist God’s arm to bless it. Sometimes we even take credit for our victories.

We need to hear God’s heartbeat. We need to hear what the Father says about the matter at hand. We need to hear what the Father says about our future, and what to we need to do. The fact is we need to HEAR.

Rom 10:17 – faith comes by hearing. Its an activity from our side. Abraham kept listening and didn’t kill his son although God initially asked him to offer him up. What would have happened if he didn’t keep on listening?

Many times we have acts to prove our faith but at best it could prove our hope. As faith is only through surrender to God’s will, not a forceful activity from our side. Faith comes by hearing.

Somehow we always end up with good intentions, but good intentions by itself means nothing. You can have good intentions about setting goals for your future, but without knowing what God’s heart is on the matter it would be a futile exercise.

We need to surrender our lives to God, incline our ears to Him. Hear what He has to say about our future, about our plans, and goals. Then come in line with His will. He will empower His Word. Best place to be is to be in line with what God is doing.

We’ve had fun and many changes over the years in the studio. Technology has advances so quickly that you don’t need big studio rooms and many thousands of dollars worth of equipment to be able to produce competitive albums.

Yvette has become a great producer and these days she produces and records the soaking songs all by herself. The studio has really enabled us to work towards our dream to bless the nations.

Equipment includes:

Cubase 4

Reason 4

Ps 62:11-12

In Ps 62:11-12 in the NKJV it reads

Psa 62:11 God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

Psa 62:12 Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.

The NIV version states it as God is strong and God is loving. How do you put these two attributes together in perfect tension?

Before we get deeper into this, I just want to lay a foundation. It is not something that a whole theology must be built upon, but it must be seen as one of the tools we need to understand God better.

The Holy Spirit put this line in my heart the other day: ”The one who loves the most holds the most authority in the kingdom of God.” You will also note that 1 John 4:8 states that: ”God is love”. It comes to no surprise that He holds all authority.

It is also important that we don’t take this out of context. This is what makes the scripture in Ps 62 so important, in that it states that God is loving and God is strong, not to take God is love out of context. To take the statement God is love, and keep it on its own and build a whole theology around that would be completely wrong, the same goes for God is strong. Both are valid statements but cannot be used on their own.

For example: I asked Pierre to come up to the front. Pierre is guy of great stature. He is strong. He has larger build than most people standing probably two meters tall. By just looking at him you can deduct that he is a very strong man, stronger than most people around. If you just see Pierre as only a strong man you would be missing out on so much more of him. He might be strong, but he is also passionate. He is a loving father. He has his own business. He is passionate about seeing the lost saved, and of course, the better you get to know Pierre, the more you find out about him.

To take this even a step further, Pierre is human. We are finite beings. This means we have a beginning and an end. To some extend it would be possible to write a description about us that we ourselves would feel is adequate. But God is infinite, uncontainable.

This means: in the beginning, God created the beginning. He was before the beginning. In the beginning was God. For us as finite beings to try and understand an infinite Being, is impossible. We cannot put Him in a box. God is made up of many attributes.

This is important for us that when discussing that God is loving and God is strong that it is just a part of His character. Not to make this the basis of some theology, we need to get to know God in all His facets, search Him out. The more we seek Him the more He reveals to us.

The one who loves the most holds most authority.

Tozer says that the most important thing that a man can think is what he thinks when he thinks about God. I am still busy laying down a foundation for this message. I want to talk about our perception. Our hearts are like the breeding ground of our perception. If we’ve got something wrong in our hearts, it clouds our perception. When there is something wrong in our hearts, it clouds the way we see and look at God, and that in turn distorts the way we interact with others.

I want to use myself as an example of this. When I grew up I was ok with the idea of Jesus, because He died for me, He set me free and I’ve got eternal life because of His sacrifice and me accepting Him as my personal Saviour. But God the Father, the one behind this blood veil of Jesus (if I can use it that way) was the One I was afraid of. Not afraid of in the sense “the fear of God leading to wisdom” but afraid as in scared. See the way I perceived God the Father to be at that stage of my life because of my heart condition was when reading the old testament you see that when you do something wrong : you die, you meet Him on the wrong day: you die. I was really OK with Jesus, but God the Father I was really afraid of. See, because of my heart condition it effected my perception of God the Father and it clouded my understanding which effected my whole life. The problem was as soon as I got to a point to worship God, I struggled as He is a triune God. How do I relate to God if I am afraid of Him? Really afraid of Him…

But through time and persisting in seeking Him out, the Holy Spirit could break down the barriers in my heart. Through the help and guidance of many people, through liberty, through my wife and consistently seeking God out, I started changing slowly. I started to see God the Father’s goodness and as the perfect loving Father.

All I could see in my younger days was the fact that God the Father was strong and the judge, now I’ve got a fuller picture. God is loving. God is kind. Again, God the Father is the perfect Father. We must learn not to just hang onto one thing, but search God out. We must be careful not to make God something that He is not.

It is true that Jesus died and atoned for my sin, but through this progressive revelation I started seeing so much more about God the Father, who loves me so much that He sent Jesus to die for me.

What do most of us remember about Adam and Eve?

The woman that made the mistake, the snake, and being kicked out of Eden or if you a woman, the man that didn’t cover his wife. In this story that we are so familiar with, there is a key feature that we so easily overlook. In Gen 3 it speaks after they sinned, and remember that God has all knowledge He knew they sinned, He searched them out. They hid and God searched them out after they sinned. This is before Jesus died for us on the cross. This is God’s heart.

This is so important to realise, because this is God’s heart. He knew they sinned but He searched them out.

When you start reading the Bible with a heart that knows God is a good Father, He is a loving Father it changes everything. The whole Bible starts to change. The Bible is not just a book where we find tips and tricks in or just gain knowledge, but it is an actual love story. The more you read it from a heart condition that God is a good Father, the more this love story unfolds.

Just to illustrate God’s heart towards us Jeremiah 29:11

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

This is God’s heart towards us, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us, you and me a future, and a hope. Just remember this verse as we get towards the end of the message.

Rom 5:8 says while we were still sinners Christ died for us. While we were at our worst spot, in the deepest mess, Christ died for us. God knew our condition, He knew exactly where we are at and what we’ve done, what we’ve been through, but Jesus made it possible that through His sacrifice we can have a relationship with God.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

This is God’s heart He sent His Son not to condemn but save through Him. To call us to Him in order that we can become sons and daughters in His house, children of God. God is loving.

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

We live by faith in the Son of God, who LOVED us and gave Himself for us. While we were still sinners. This is God’s heart.

This was now laying a foundation to work from to explain what the Kingdom of God is like. This Kingdom where we worship and long for the King of kings. This is what we partake in. For God so loved the world… God is loving God is strong. God did not sit back and let us perish, but did everything so that we can worship Him freely and have a relationship with Him, so that we can come into His presence and have the Holy Spirit live in us. Jesus said it is finished, in other words everything was done.

How do we bring it back to a practical level, our daily living? We are busy covering walking in authority, so how do we bring love into this picture?

1 Cor. 12 speaks about the gifts we can function in various levels. As church universal we are longing to move more and more in the power and anointing of God. How does love fit into this authority picture? In the kingdom of God the one who love the most holds most authority.

Chapter 12 here gets us really excited about all the gifts we can function in and how we can see the supernatural move through us. Chapter 13 of 1 Cor. is the chapter that covers chapter 12.

1Cor 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

1Cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

1Cor 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

This this points out that when we do something and is not out of love, if love is not the basis of that action, it will profit you nothing. If an action doesn’t come from a heart condition of love it will profit you nothing.

Through this we can see that love should be the basis of our actions in what we function on a daily basis, so how does love look, what do I do practically.

1 Cor 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

1 Cor13:5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

1 Cor13:6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

1 Cor13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1Cor 13:8 Love never fails.

1Cor 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind .Am I like this, when I work and my boss tells me something to do, is this my heart condition? Do I follow with this as a basis in my heart? What is my response in daily life?

1Cor 13:4 ………..love does not parade itself, is not puffed up. Do I feel that I am better than others? Am I maybe better in sport than others and now I feel that I am better?

1Cor 13:5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil. What do I do in traffic when someone cuts in front of me in traffic? What do I do in the parking lot when someone takes my parking space that I’ve been waiting for 5 minutes?

We need to ask the Father to reveal our heart condition to us.

The verse in Jer 29:11 sounds all too familiar now.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

This is God’s heart towards us. He’s got a good heart towards us. This is part of God’s character. The challenge is this. To be Christian is to be followers of Christ.

Eph 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

We must be imitators of God, followers of Christ. What should we be like? What should we imitate? 1 Cor 13:4-8 is a good starting point.

In the NIV verse 15 of 1 Cor 13 is says that love keep no record of wrong. What is there in our heart that we are keeping hidden of someone doing something to us? Even if you were completely done in, and that person was wrong, do you still keep it against him? God calls us to be imitators of Him, to be like Him. Love holds no record of wrong.

Or did your leadership do something that you felt was wrong, someone in your home group, someone in your family did something against you that you can remember and hold against them? Something that hurt you so badly that only comes now and again and reminds you of the pain.

How do we walk in love? How does our authority look when we lead our house? How we speak to our children when they’ve done something wrong, and we’ve had a bad day. Do we hunger to see our wives reach their destiny or do we only think about our own lives?

Man is not the perfect example but God is, we need to look at God to find out what we should be like. God is strong, but He leads and rules in love. He holds all authority is all powerful but He is love.

Ask the Holy Spirit to come and check your heart condition, ask Him to reveal your heart to you, what has been hidden deep inside there. Thank you Holy Spirit for coming and exposing our hearts to us, and that we can get a clearer picture of what God is like and what our heart conditions should be like. Help us to walk in love.

Love your Wife

It is very important for us as men to be in our relationships/marriage with an open heart. To sincerely hear from our Father what we can do to change the way we do things to know His heart. We sometimes judge our current situation against others.

We judge our standard of marriage against our friends and family, the neighbour across the street, couples in the church, our parents and even the media. However great our marriage or relationship may be, it is often far from the standard that God requires from us. We can always have an open heart to look where we can love more, give more and lead as gracious men in our marriage.

We as men tend to focus on our calling, where we want in live, where we are going, what we want to do, hunting down our dreams leaving our spouses to trail behind us in the process, placing them second to this. It is important to know that one day our Father will hold us accountable for our spouses. Do we even know what their calling is, what their dreams are, or what they long for?

In all of this, we need to call on the Holy Spirit to cut away all the things that corrupt our hearts, and the way we treat our wives. How do we live out our lives in our marriage. Heb 4:12 says that the Word is living and active and cuts between bone and marrow. We need to open our hearts and overflow with God’s Word, be saturated by the Word, in order to be the men that God wants us to be. The Word of God is a discerner of our thoughts and the intents of our hearts. Let us continuously be open to the working of the Father in our lives.

It is important to note the progress into the kingdom. Col 3 speaks about how we should focus on Christ, and not the flesh, that we’ve died to this world and Jesus has set us free. Right after the opening paragraph in chapter 3, we get a heading saying “Character of a new man” (v12-17) explaining to us what we should be like to others, to ourselves, and especially our spouse in marriage. It is only by the grace of God that we can ever reach this standard. The next paragraph gives us a good understanding of what a Christian home/marriage should be like. We as men should note Col 3:19 stating that we should love our wives and NOT be BITTER towards them. Our marriages can overflow with life and love when we draw from our Father and not from our own power.

Eph 5:25-27. This is what God requires of us. This is His standard for our marriages.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

Eph 5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

Eph 5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

We must love our wives as Christ loved the church giving His life for her. This is a very strong statement, the standard we are to set. We must speak life over our wives every day, and verse 27 gives the conclusion on why we do this. We do this in order to present our wives spotless and without wrinkle, that she should be holy and without blemish. It is our duty to fight for our wives, to look after them, to treat them with respect and in a way where they will continually grow.

Do not ever judge your current relationship by the standard of the world. Let us rather go to God’s Word and ask Him to reveal His perfect plan and pattern to us.

It is important for us to fight for our wife’s and not with them. In marriage and relationships it is easy to neglect that. When we do not protect our wife’s and fight with them we almost kick them out of the nest and let them know that they have to fend for themselves. For the lack of a better example it is like a mother hen kicking out the little ones. We need to draw our spouses into our protection, keep them safe, guard them.
